Description:

This site offers a very nice, easily accessible calc-silicate skarn. This locality is particularly spectacular because both the exoskarn and the endoskarn are well developed and offer excellent mineral assemblages. The exoskarn is composed of recrystallized calcite, wollastonite, grossular, and andradite. The endoskarn is composed of plagioclase, diopside, and large sphene crystals.
